Both radeon and amdgpu don't set the mode until the first blockhandler, this means everything should be rendered on the screen correctly by then. This ports this code, it also removes the tail call of EnterVT from ScreenInit, it really isn't necessary and causes us to set a dirty mode with -modesetting always anyways. v2: reorder set desired modes vs block handler as done for amdgpu. X Server
The X server accepts requests from client applications to create windows,
which are (normally rectangular) "virtual screens" that the client program
can draw into.
Windows are then composed on the actual screen by the X server
(or by a separate composite manager) as directed by the window manager,
which usually communicates with the user via graphical controls such as buttons
and draggable titlebars and borders.
