Before this commit we were trying to add most drm devices twice, once from xf86platformProbe() and once from config_udev_init(). This results in somewhat confusing messages in Xorg.log, ie: (II) xfree86: Adding drm device (/dev/dri/card0) Later followed by: (II) config/udev: Adding drm device (/dev/dri/card0) By filtering out duplicate drm devices we avoid these confusing messages. X Server
The X server accepts requests from client applications to create windows,
which are (normally rectangular) "virtual screens" that the client program
can draw into.
Windows are then composed on the actual screen by the X server
(or by a separate composite manager) as directed by the window manager,
which usually communicates with the user via graphical controls such as buttons
and draggable titlebars and borders.
