In the event that xwayland gets launched on a wayland compositor that doesn't yet have support for wp_tablet_manager, we end up skipping the initialization of the lists. This is wrong, because regardless of whether or not a tablet is present we still attempt to traverse these lists later in xwl_set_cursor(), expecting that if the lists are empty from no tablet manager that we simply won't execute any loop iterations. X Server
The X server accepts requests from client applications to create windows,
which are (normally rectangular) "virtual screens" that the client program
can draw into.
Windows are then composed on the actual screen by the X server
(or by a separate composite manager) as directed by the window manager,
which usually communicates with the user via graphical controls such as buttons
and draggable titlebars and borders.
