Sometimes the vendor and product names aren't specific enough to target a USB device, so expose the numeric codes in the ID. A MatchUSBID entry has been added that supports shell pattern matching when fnmatch(3) is available. For example: MatchUSBID "046d:*" The IDs are stored in lowercase hex separated by a ':' like "lsusb" or "lspci -n". X Server
The X server accepts requests from client applications to create windows,
which are (normally rectangular) "virtual screens" that the client program
can draw into.
Windows are then composed on the actual screen by the X server
(or by a separate composite manager) as directed by the window manager,
which usually communicates with the user via graphical controls such as buttons
and draggable titlebars and borders.
