If RTLD_DI_SETSIGNAL is set to let us turn runtime linker/loader errors into catchable signals, then we should only show the errors when catching that signal, instead of tossing out red herrings to distract people with unrelated crashes long after their last failed symbol lookup (especially when using drivers built to support multiple API's by checking which symbols are available before calling them). X Server
The X server accepts requests from client applications to create windows,
which are (normally rectangular) "virtual screens" that the client program
can draw into.
Windows are then composed on the actual screen by the X server
(or by a separate composite manager) as directed by the window manager,
which usually communicates with the user via graphical controls such as buttons
and draggable titlebars and borders.
