I got a report that Firestar on some Windows machines is freezing when trying to convert mp3 files. The user who reported this tried running the same commands manually that Firestar runs and the file was processed just fine. Importing a wav into the playlist worked fine as well if I am understanding him correctly. I could not get any further useful information, the user's computer appeared to be set up correctly and Firestar was fully up-to-date.

Windows 11. 2012 visual studio crt's installed.
